Letters to the agents (Robert Dundas until November 1817, John Archibald Campbell thereafter) of the Commissioners of Laurence Blair Oliphant of Gask, who dealt with all financial and estate matters after the family moved from Gask in 1807., 1807-1821, and undated.
The letters are mainly from the factors on the estate (Robert Reid until 1814, John Douglas thereafter), members of the Oliphant family, and other lawyers.
Letters written to Alan Reid by musicians, local poets, and others, in connection with ‘The National Choir' and ‘Bards of Angus and the Mearns’, both edited by him, and his other musical and literary activities, with printed and other scraps., 1870-1895, undated.
