At folio 14 is the draft of a letter to the Electors of East Lothian, 1892.

Richard B Haldane's notes are undated, but were written probably whilst he was standing for the English bar 1877-1879.
Most of the volume, including folios 6 verso-11 recto, 24 verso-36 verso and 48 verso-137 recto, is blank.
