"Prophylactique ... to give some fewe direct[ions] for the preservation of man's health", written between 1625 and 1633 by William Sheapheard and dedicated to the 1st Earl of Ancram., 1625-1633.
After a brief description of human physiology, the author gives directions for preserving health, concentrating on diet.
