Photograph album containing black and white photographic prints recording the work of the War Department Light Railways on the Western Front in March 1918. Subjects depicted include the construction and maintenance of tracks, locomotives and rolling stock, transportation of field guns to the front, and movement of troops. The album was compiled to accompany a written report on the operations of the War Department Light Railways.

Rev. Archibald Eneas Robertson was a keen mountaineer and is credited with being the first person to complete all of the Munros. On his climbs, Robertson often took his camera and the slides and photographs here are some of the resulting images.
