Scope and Contents

This is a privately printed work of John Cam Hobhouse. It gives his account of the separation of Lord and Lady Byron and the burning of the memoirs of the poet in 1824.

The pages have not been cut and are stored folded together in the correct order.

The loose binding in which the pages are contained seems to have been originally intended for another publication, but a manuscript note has been added to reflect the current content. The printed pages and the binding have been placed together inside a larger box.
