This copy correspondence volumes in this series contain copies of letters sent by Charles Elliot to various correspondents, including authors, editors, printers, and other booksellers and publishers. Significant letters were copied, sometimes in summary only, into these bound volumes. The copy letters cover the majority of the time that Elliot was in business, with the exception of the first three years.
