Biography

James Hunter (1921-2006) was a Scottish engineer. As a young man he joined the Young Communist League and later the Communist Party of Great Britain, and was a founding member of the Communist Party of Scotland. He was a lifelong activist for workers' rights, socialism, and later pensioners' rights. He married Margaret in 1956, a fellow Communist Party member and activist.
