A letter of Knox to Sir Randall Philip, Sheriff of Ayr and Renfrew, concerning the deposit of the address in the National Library of Scotland, is also included.

The article gives a complete collation of the text of the lectionary (against the 1863 Oxford reprint of the ’textus receptus’), notes on the relationship of this to other lectionaries (with reference to the series ‘Studies in the lectionary text of the Greek New Testament’ (Chicago, 1933-1959), and a list of the saints and readings of the menologion.
