The title on the spine of the volume is "The Bechuana language".

Folio i is a note (watermark 1857) by Livingstone concerning the title page for the publication of the manuscript : "Under the title say. Written at Kuruman in November 1852 and printed for private use among all the members of the Livingstone expedition".

(ii) Manuscript and corrected typescripts of 'Island Burn', 1965-1970 (folio 6). Under the title 'Arran Burn', this was commissioned by the BBC, and first produced on television in 1965.
