(ii) ‘Nomination of Lords for the Session 28 Oct., 1689, by King William and Queen Mary’ continued until May 1718 (folio 11);

(iii) List of the ‘Lords of the Session since the institution thairof’ until 1710 (folio 15);

(iv) List of Advocates, 1537-1710, arranged alphabetically (folio 30).

Scope and Contents

The contents comprise lists of persons suspected of complicity in the Rising, furnished in 1746 by the excise officers of sixteen areas (folio 1), and lists of heritors and others in various parishes (mainly in Sutherland and Orkney) who did not take part in the Rising, furnished in 1746 by the ministers, together with some similar lists (folio 59).
