File contains original catalogues, invitations, and letters concerning an exhibition held on the history of John Murray, publishers, at 350 Oxford Street ("in the Old Court House, Messrs. J. & E. Bumpus, Ltd.") in July 1931, alongside a typescript copy of the speech given by Lord Ernle at the opening. Catalogues record the list of exhibits as well as the potted history of the company. File also includes two original booklets on the history of Bumpus Ltd. (1930).
