Scottish melodies, sometimes with accompaniment, gathered by John Murdoch Henderson between 1926 and 1972., 1926-1972, undated.
Many of the melodies were composed or arranged by John Murdoch Henderson, others are the compositions of his contemporaries, Scott Skinner, James Cameron, Peter Milne and many others, and some are older or anonymous. Henderson seems to have worked over and revised these tunes in an attempt to find the perfect set. Most of the revisions are dated, and their order is where possible that of the final revision.
