To 1747 and from 1765 the accounts are arranged chronologically (except that from 1739 to 1746 numbered series of 'Instructions' are placed first). From 1748 to 1764 the arrangement within each year is by subject: money rent and general, crops (wheat, oats, meal, barley, flax), building materials, coal, seeds, tradesmen, wages, carriage, livestock, public burdens.

The years are calendar, not crop.
