Ch.5645-5649 concern the tenure of Trout Hall and Teake Savanna plantations in Jamaica. Ch.5650 is a plan of North Hall, William Chisholme`s estate in Jamaica. Ch.5651-5653 concern the settlement of the affairs of John Bryan and Archibald Greig (for whom James Chisholme and William Molleson acted as executors) and of James Maccubbin of Philadelphia.

Dates: 1715, 1746-1790.

The papers consist of bonds (many dating from 1637-1638 when Sir Alexander was probably raising money for the Royalists), summonses, etc, by his creditors, and deeds concerning the transfer of the West Nisbet estate to John Ker in 1649 and later negotiations between the two families.
