Research notes, c.1994-2004, of Stephen Dodgson compiled for ‘The Babe of Tangier: an enquiry into the life and circle of General George Wade’.

Dodgson’s biography of Wade was published in the Journal of the Society for Army Historical Research, volume 82, no. 330, Summer 2004. His research drew upon a range of sources, including the papers of J. B. Salmond, concerning Wade in Scotland (Acc.2796).
