A series of lectures prepared and recorded by Professor James Holms Dickson for students attending the 1989 Plant Ecology Junior Honours course. The lectures cover a range of subjects relating to biology and ecology.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The original recordings were captured on magnetic tape. The 7 masters (7 x compact cassette C60, 4.76 cm/s (1 7/8 ips)) were digitised under the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage (UOSH) project. The formats of the digitised copies are JPEG and WAV files.
