Scope and Contents
Leith Franklin Cricket Club was founded in 1852 by workers in nearby Fullarton’s Printing Works and was named after Benjamin Franklin, inventor and printer. In various incarnations, the Club has played cricket on Leith Links since before 1850. The club merged with Leith Academicals in 1988, since when they have been known as the Leith Franklin Academicals Cricket Club.
