Four letters of Eleanor Roosevelt to Arthur C Murray, concerning a visit from W. L. Mackenzie-King, Prime Minister of Canada, 2 May 1948, with related correspondence between Murray and Mackenzie-King; campaigning ahead of the 1956 US Presidential Election, 28 October 1955 and 20 January 1956; and the Suez Crisis, 14 November 1956.
With letters of Robert E Sherwood; Sir William Wiseman, Bt; and Stella, Lady Reading to Arthur C Murray on Eleanor Roosevelt's visits to the UK and Murray's historical writing about Anglo-American politics and Franklin D Roosevelt, with related papers.
Several of the letters contain explanatory annotations by Arthur C Murray.
