Physical Description
The volume measures 13.5 x 7.5 x 5.4 cm. In a contemporary binding of limp vellum, with a paper label covering the entire spine, which bears the text 'Scoti liber II. Sententiarum Manuscriptus'. The front and back covers have two sets of holes each that served to fasten ties, now lost. On the bottom edge is written in a contemporary hand: 'Scotti 2.o'. An ink inscription at the top of the front cover is now largely illegible.
The paper paste-downs have become detached at the inner front and back covers, exposing the sewing support slips and strips of paper from a liturgical manuscript, ca. 14th century, used as strengthening material.
