Miscellany of correspondence and formal documents, of and relating to, the Lords of Weem from whom were descended Sir Alexander Menzies of that ilk, created Baronet in 1665, and his descendants.
Scope and Contents
The papers are apparently strays from a collection of family papers.
The greater part of the miscellany consists of letters, 1542-?1639, undated, to successive Lords of Weem (folios 1-43) and of correspondence and papers, 1771-1772, undated, of Sir Robert Menzies, 3rd Baronet, (folios 49-129).
Also included are a few later letters and papers, apparently unconnected with the family (folios 130-142).
