Custodial History
The manuscript was presented to the Advocates’ Library in 1830 by the Bannatyne Club.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Presented, 1925, by the Faculty of Advocates to the nation on the foundation of the National Library of Scotland.
Bibliography
The first publication of the History was in Aberdeen in 1792. It was later reprinted for the Bannatyne Club, Edinburgh, 1829, edited by W F Skene and for the Spalding Club, Aberdeen, 1850, edited by Dr John Stuart.
