Vellum. Binding of brown sheepskin (rebacked), tooled blind, with two clasps, 17th century.
Custodial History
The volume belonged to Sir James Balfour and has his contents-list and ex-libris, dated 1629, on folio ii; Denmilne number 59 on folio i. The volume was number 166-168 in the sale of Balfour`s library. Former pressmark: A.6.13. The manuscript was bought by the Advocates’ Library in 1698.

Presented, 1925, by the Faculty of Advocates to the nation on the foundation of the National Library of Scotland.
