Collation: 1-7⁸, 8 (3 leaves). Single columns of 36 lines up to folio 41, and varying from 37 to 45 lines thereafter. Quire-marks in Roman numerals in the bottom left-hand margins of folios 16 verso, 24 verso, and 32 verso. Catchwords on folio 41 recto and folio 48 verso.

Vellum. Binding of brown calf, gold-tooled.
Custodial History
The remains of a partially erased inscription on folio 1 read ‘J. de evesham’ and may be part of a Worcester ex-libris. John de Evesham was a prior of Worcester from 1340 to 1370 (See ‘A Biographical Register of the University of Oxford’, i, page 656). Ex-libris (folio 1) and device (folio 59 verso) of Sir James Balfour of Denmilne. Denmilne number 42. The manuscript was bought by the Advocates’ Library in 1698.

Presented, 1925, by the Faculty of Advocates to the nation on the foundation of the National Library of Scotland.
