Custodial History
The papers were formerly on deposit in the Scottish Record Office (SRO) as the Dundas of Ochtertyre Muniments (GD35), but some items held in the SRO were sold separately and are not included in the collection purchased by the Library. Former SRO numbers are noted in the custodial history note of each entry for the convenience of readers who have used the collection previously, but are there for information only and should not be used for reference purposes.
