Arrangement
The papers have been rearranged on several occasions. The Society itself used more than one filing system, and some of the papers were later rearranged by the Scottish Record Office. The present arrangement is based on that of the Scottish Record Office, which is by subject groups arranged alphabetically. There is, however, some overlapping: for example, presscuttings may be found both under that heading and under the subject to which they refer, for example 'Awards'. (eg Awards).
