Scope and Contents
The letters in this sequence are largely to Lord Byron from a wide variety of correspondents, all of which write to the poet regarding financial or business matters. A significant number are of John Hanson, the solicitor, guardian and advisor to Lord Byron. Also included are letters relating to the will of Lord Byron, written following his death in Greece in 1824.
