Correspondence between Lord Byron and various correspondents associated with Harrow School., 1805-1832, 1994.
Scope and Contents
Lord Byron attended Harrow School from 1801-1805. The majority of letters in this sequence are to Byron from the friends he made at school. The main correspondents include Sir John Thomas Claridge, Edward Noel Long, John Edward Tattersall and John Wingfield. Copies of letters of Byron to Edward Noel Long are also contained within this sequence. There are also some 20th century biographical notes about the Harrow friends of Lord Byron, written by Chris Fletcher.
Also included in this sequence are letters of Joseph Drury and Henry Joseph Thomas Drury, the headmaster and tutor of Byron at Harrow School respectively.

The letters of the Harrow School friends of Byron have been arranged alphabetically by correspondent surname and then in date order within each correspondent followed by the biographical notes of Chris Fletcher. Letters of Henry and Joseph Drury have then been placed by correspondent.
