Leyden Song Book, circa 1639: a collection of songs, instrumental pieces, and psalms, possibly compiled by Williane Stirling, with later additions. (Adv.MS.5.2.14);
Skene Manuscript, ?1615-?1635: a collection of 117 pieces in tablature for the mandora, apparently compiled by John Skene (? of Hallyards, Midlothian, died 1644). (Adv.MS.5.2.15).
