The papers contain nearly all of the 1st Earl of Minto's papers concerning Toulon, many concerning Corsica. MSS.11215-11217 contain a substantial amount of material relating to émigrees from Toulon as well as Corsica

Separated Materials

Most of the 1st Earl of Minto's correspondence with British commanders in the Mediterranean and diplomatists in Italy, 1793-1797, are in the National Maritime Museum, MS.9217. For letters of the 1st Earl to Henry Dundas from Corsica, see MSS.1707, folios 49-77, and 3112, folios 36-53.
