General correspondence of Ruthven Todd., 1944-1978, undated.

 Sub-Series
Identifier: MSS.26801-26814

Scope and Contents

Ruthven Todd kept up a correspondence with a wide circle of friends, of whom many were writers or artists, and others were friends he had made in America or who, like himself, were living in Majorca. The letters concern the writers' own lives and sometimes refer to current events in the United States; they also concern Todd's work, particularly his biography of Dylan Thomas, his books for children, and his research on honeydew in 1966, on William Blake in 1968-1970, and on the poet Norman Cameron in 1973.
