Scope and Contents
The contents are as follows. (i) Letters of Robert McLellan to James King Annand, 1975-1983 (folio 1). They chiefly concern the publication of McLellan's 'Linmill' stories in ‘Lallans’, the magazine edited by Annand, but they also mention mutual friends and the work of other writers in ‘Lallans’. (ii) Miscellaneous correspondence, 1980-1984 (folio 35). It includes McLellan's reminiscences of Christopher Murray Grieve, 1980 (folio 38), and copies of his letters to John Calder concerning the publication of his ‘Collected plays’ and royalties on ‘Jamie the Saxt’ (folio 56).
