Contains papers of the following: Munro of Inveran, 1676-1715, undated; Principal Alexander Monro and family, 1684-1717, undated, including an account of the illness of Sir George Mackenzie of Rosehaugh, 1691 (folio 45), besides literary and ecclesiastical topics, some printed by W K Dickson in 'Miscellany' of the 'Scottish History Society, volume v, 1933; Alexander Monro, Provost of the Old College, St Andrews, 1688-1697, undated, including a letter of Dr Archibald Pitcairne, 1696 (folio 219), and a reference to St Andrews as 'The metropolis of golfing' (folio 177).
