Much of this concerns Milton's poetry. Monboddo number 241. (iii) Papers on poetry in general, 1789, undated. (Folio 44.) Two items (folios 44 and 48) were intended for the ‘Origin and progress of language’, but were not used. Includes Monboddo numbers 243, 232, 242.
