(ii) Correspondence with the Earl of Moira, later 1st Marquess of Hastings, Lord Justice Clerk [later Lord President] Charles Hope, and Andrew James Cochrane Johnstone, relating to the management of Scottish business under the Talents ministry, 1806 (folio 5);

(iii) Correspondence with the 2nd Earl of Liverpool relating to Robert Dundas, 2nd Viscount Melville’s acceptance of the Chief Secretaryship for Ireland, 1809 (folio 31);

(iv) Correspondence chiefly with George Canning but including letters of or to Lord Chancellor Eldon and others, relating to the formation of the Perceval ministry (folio 39);

iv) Correspondence with Canning, the Prince Regent, Huskisson, Liverpool and others, on the formation of the Liverpool ministry, May-July 1812 (folio 100);

(vi) Letter announcing the appointment of the 2nd Viscount as Governor of the Bank of Scotland, 1811 (folio 139);

(vii) Two letters of Lord Lovaine, later 2nd Earl of Beverley and 4th Duke of Northumberland, concerning his resignation from the India Board of Control, 1812 (folio 141);

(viii) Two copies of a report on the question of ceding a West Indian possession to Sweden, August 1812 (folio 145).
