Scope and Contents
The contents are as follows.
(i) A copy of Hope's ‘Minor Praticks’ 'writtin be Harie Innes, wreitter in Edinburgh', 1668. List of contents at folio 157.
(ii) 'Instructiones and injunctions to the Comissars of Edinburgh and to all other inferior Comissars within the Kingdome of Scotland' (folio 159) 'given in ane consultatioune' by Sir John Nisbet (Lord Dirleton), Sir John Baird (Lord Newbyth), and Mr David Falconer of Glenfarquhar (afterwards Sir David, Lord Newton) 'to the Archbischop and Bischop of Edinburgh, to be the rule of thair Comissars'.
