Scope and Contents
The contents are as follows.
(i) Short account of towns in the north of France, from Dunkirk to Amiens and Dieppe, in a hand of the late eighteenth century. (Folio 1.)
(ii) 'Runstafvens Beskrifning', an account, undated, in Swedish, of the Runic staff-calendar, by Clemens Smitt (Folio 35.)
(iii) Copy-book (incomplete), 1818. Each leaf bears the name William Whyte, Cullen; folio 69 verso, that of Mr James Stewart, schoolmaster, Cullen. (Folio 55.)
(iv) 'Shetland words, arranged in subjects', undated, by Sir Henry E L Dryden, Baronet. (Folio 71.)
