Scope and Contents
The contents are as follows.
(i) General correspondence of James Graham, 1800-1804, undated (folio 1), and miscellaneous personal papers relating to Graham's Indian affairs, including two diaries of journeys in Bengal, 1795 (folio 150).
(ii) Indian papers of Thomas Graham Stirling of Airth, both as captain of an East Indiaman and as a speculator in Indian trade: photocopies of accounts and correspondence relating to the ships ‘Busbridge’, 1789-1796, and ‘General Goddard’, 1796-1797 (folio 162). The originals of these are in the Cambridge Centre of South Asian Studies; see ‘Cambridge South Asian archive’ (1973), page 91.
