Miscellaneous papers of and concerning Henry Brougham., 1839-? 1845, 1976.
Scope and Contents
(1) manuscript, 1839, of an anonymous poem, "Who killed Lord Brougham?";
(2) photocopy, 1976, of another manuscript, 1839, of the poem "Who killed Lord Brougham?". The first folio of the photocopy has been
annotated at the head to indicate that the manuscript was in the collection of Barbara Murray;
(3) note, ? 1845, on which is written "Memoires de Fleury" and "Antoninus (or Marcus Aurelius) Meditations - Greek". The slip would
appear to be a request for books to be supplied by John Murray. The hand would appear to be that of Henry Brougham, which
suggestion is confirmed by a contemporary annotation on the recto, "Lord Brougham, Mar 1/45".
