Papers of and concerning Henry Fox., 1812-1948.
Scope and Contents
Statesman Henry Richard Vassall Fox (1773-1840) and his wife, Elizabeth (?1771-1845), (also known as Lord and Lady Holland) were at the centre of the Whig political and social circle that became known as the Holland House set.
The material here largely consists of letters, and typescript transcriptions of letters, of Henry Fox to John Murray [II], although there are also some letters of Elizabeth Fox included.
