Letters, 1876-1885, of Henry Wace to John Murray III, with several to William Smith and Robert Cooke, one to John Murray IV, with related letters. They concern various works of Wace published by Murray, including “A dictionary of Christian biography…” co-edited with William Smith, Brewer’s “English studies”, a section on the Apocrypha for “The Speaker’s commentary”, as well as articles for the Quarterly Review and lectures. The letters are arranged in chronological order.
