The letters concern works of hers published by the Murrays, including “Sir William Gregory, KCMG”, “Cuchulain of Muirthemne”, “Poets and dreamers” and “Gods and fighting men”. There is frequent reference to the views of W.B. Yeats on her writing. The letters are arranged in chronological order.
