Letters, 1888-1895, of Charles Gore to John Murray IV, with a few to Hallam Murray and possibly to John Murray III, with related letters and papers. They concern works of Gore published by the Murrays, including “Lux mundi”, for which he was both contributor and editor, his Bampton lectures, further lectures on “The mission of the church”, and “Dissertations on subjects connected with the incarnation”. The letters are arranged in chronological order.
