Scope and Contents
This manuscript includes letters, 1819-1850, of Thomas Aspinwall, consul and literary agent, mostly to John Murray II and John Murray III. Some of the letters concern the works of Washington Irving, published by the Murrays.
The letters are mostly arranged alphabetically by correspondent and, where required, by date under each name. Some additional letters have been added to the end of this sequence.
