(ii) Ten letters of Edmund Burke, mainly on Indian affairs and the trial of Warren Hastings, 1783-1791, with the copy of a reply of Henry Dundas, 1787 (folio 5);
(iii) Letter of Edward Burke’s son, Richard Burke, with a memorial on the Irish Roman Catholics, 1792 (folio 33);
(iv) Correspondence between Henry Dundas and Lord North, 1771, 1781 (folio 39);
(v) Two letters of Lord North’s son, Frederick North, 1793, 1802, the second on the government of Ceylon (folio 43);
(vi) Letter of Charles Abbot, afterwards Lord Colchester, 1808 (folio 49);
(vii) Project of Honourable Lieutenant-Colonel John Lindsay, 71st Foot, for an attack on Cherbourg, 1813 (folio 51);
(viii) Letters of Lord Lyndhurst, 1829, Lord Melbourne, 1832, 1838, and Sir David Brewster, 1838 (folio 61).
