The contents are as follows.
(i) Calendar and tables for finding Easter. The Calendar includes many Utrecht saints in red. (Folio 1.)
(ii) Hours of the Cross. (Folio 15.)
(iii) Hours of the Virgin. (Folio 17.)
(iv) Penitential Psalms. (Folio 39.)
(v) Litany and Supplications. (Folio 44.)
(vi) Office of the Dead. (Folio 49.)
(vii) Prayers at Communion. Four of these occur in Brussels, Bibliothèque Royale, MS.11171, folios 75, 81-82, 98 verso. See M Meertens, ‘De Godsvrucht in de Nederlanden’, pages 47-48. (Folio 77.)
(viii) The Hundred Articles on the Passion. (Folio 84.)
(ix) Contemplation on the Passion attributed to St Bernard, with a section for each of the canonical hours. (Folio 104.)
(x) Prayer to the Virgin. (Folio 120 verso.)
(xi) Antiphons and collects of the Sundays of Advent and feast days in the year. (Folio 121.)
Lacking leaves after folios 77 and 146 (blank). Illuminated initials throughout, and full inhabited borders at folios 15, 15 verso, 16, 17, 21, 39, 49, 80, 84, 104, 105, 121, and 122. The text at folio 77, and what follows, has been extensively underlined, and in places amended, mostly by deletions. The date is given in a circular diagram at folio 13.

Custodial History
At folio 147 verso, there is a note of ownership in Dutch of Dirck Borre and his wife in a contemporary hand, possibly that of the text; at folio i is a partly deleted note of ownership in Dutch of Walborch Borre van Amerongen in a sixteenth or seventeenth-century hand. On the spine has been pasted a strip of brown paper with the inscription 'Veluwe's Gebed = / boek van 1473 / M.S.' in an eighteenth- or nineteenth-century hand. On the front cover are two labels with the numbers 22/1 and 22 (printed).
