Scope and Contents

`Practica’ by Bartolomaeus Salernitanus; printed in ‘Collectio Salernitana’, volume 4, page 321). Author and title are not given. (Folio 32.)

`Practica` by Joannes Platearius. (Folio 68.) At the end are added a series of recipes (14th century, folios 111-112). There are notes, 15th century, in the lower margins of folios 72, 75 verso, 86, and 111 verso.

`Exceptiones de disputatione phisicorum et arte medicorum`. (Folio 112 verso.)

`Liber aureus` by Joannes Afflacius; printed in ‘Opera’ by Constantinus Africanus, page 168. Author and title are not given. (Folio 114.) At the end are added two recipes in French (15th century, folio 133).

`Urine` by Mauricius, incipit `Circa urine inspectionem septem principaliter` (‘Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin’, column 223). Author and title are not given. (Folio 133 verso.)

`Liber de conferentibus et nocentibus` (‘Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin’, column 246). (Folio 144.)

`De effectibus qualitatum` by Urso, incipit `Cum questionum fere omnium solutiones` ((‘Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin’, column 334). The title is given at the beginning, the author at the end. (Folio 146 verso.) At the end are added in different hands a series of recipes (14th century, folio 150 verso) and recipes in French (15th century, folio 151 verso).

Initials are in red and blue, headings in red.
