Diary contains both handwritten and typescript entries. Manuscript notes date from 22 December 1941-22 December 1942, alongside inserted typescript diary entries for the period 29 March 1942-7 August 1943. Volume also features original drawings and map illustrations, alongside Hinde's own Youth Hostels Association (England & Wales) Juvenile card circa 1941-1943, and a reproduced group photograph. Diary features the 'Grammar School, Staveley, Chesterfield' branding on its cover. File also includes a photocopied reproduction of this diary volume.
