Scope and Contents
The volume contains copies of: correspondence, 1819-1823, relating to Sir Charles Malcolm's service with the Royal Navy in Ireland; official and private letters, 1828-1830, to his brothers Sir John and Sir Pulteney Malcolm and to various directors of the East India Company; and letters, 1828-1830, to military and naval officers of the Company at Bombay. At the end, inverted, are copies of letters to Malcolm, 1823, 1826-1831 (folio 5 inverted), including copies of some papers on the administration of the Bombay Marine (folios 14-28, 49-53 inverted), and copies of letters of Malcolm, 1836-1837 (folio 62 inverted).
