Scope and Contents
William Molleson, a Comptroller of the Army Accounts, was appointed a Commissioner of Enquiry and a Commissioner for Auditing the Public Accounts in 1785. The papers relate to his work in these capacities. A letter of 1788 to William Pitt (MS.5501, folio 28) describes Molleson's duties.
