Biography

Kathleen Tinney was born circa 1896 in Raphoe, Co. Donegal in the northwest of Ireland. She married Joseph Harrison Maxwell in circa 1910. Both she and Harrison Maxwell were teachers, social intellectuals and active members in the Red Clydeside movement of the pre-war period.

Scope and Contents Harrison Maxwell and Tinney were both teachers, social intellectuals and active members in the Red Clydeside movement of the pre-war period.
